Happy New Year! 2019 is setting up to be a real wet winter. We have been on the path a lot due to a wet winter. But, we are making good progress with the new bunker renovations. First lets start with where we are and where we are heading. The bunkers will be excavated, removing all sand and old drain lines and gravel. As of today we are expecting to be complete with this process by the end of the week. The stripping of sod has been completed on 9 and 10 and hope to be ready for 18 in a few days. The architect, Jeff Blume, will be re shaping many of the bunkers that exist. Some will be broken into smaller bunkers others will be very similar to their existing shape and location. But since it has been decades since this course was built, we feel that many of the bunkers are no longer in play or do anything to create strategy around the course. So, there will be changes. As of the end of this week we hope to have #9 final shaped and starting to drain and line these bunkers. As we continue this process, I will update on Fridays the scope of work completed and include pictures. I am looking forward to seeing you all out on the course.
Regards,
Donny Latham
